A series of FEFDY Curriculum Teacher Training Programs were successfully conducted on 23rd May 2026 in Cuddalore, equipping educators with practical, activity-based teaching strategies for effective classroom implementation. The sessions were organized at S D Sion Matriculation Higher Secondary School and Socrates Nursery & Primary School, focusing on the implementation of the Wisdom Crafters (WC) and Destiny Navigators (DN) versions of the FEFDY Curriculum. The training at S D Sion Matriculation Higher Secondary School focused on Kindergarten and Grades 1–2, while the session at Socrates Nursery & Primary School focused on the Destiny Navigators curriculum framework. The programs were facilitated by Ms. Cybil, Ms. Priya, Ms. Daris Preethi, Ms. Deepika S G, and Ms. Mary Shanthi, who shared practical classroom strategies aligned with modern educational practices and experiential learning methodologies. The sessions emphasized game-based learning, activity-based teaching, experiential learning, and the effective use of Teaching Learning Materials (TLMs), flashcards, and classroom activities. Teachers were introduced to innovative techniques that make learning more engaging, interactive, and student-centered. A major focus of the training was the development of English language skills, including grammar, phonics, vocabulary, spoken English, and LSRW (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing) competencies. Educators explored practical methods to strengthen language acquisition and communication skills among learners. Mathematics concepts were demonstrated through interactive arithmetic activities, number-line exercises, and movement-based learning strategies, helping teachers simplify concepts and make learning enjoyable for students. Science sessions included hands-on demonstrations and simple experiments, enabling educators to deliver concepts through observation, participation, and experiential learning. Throughout both sessions, teachers actively participated in discussions, activities, and demonstrations, creating a highly collaborative learning environment. The educators appreciated the practical methodologies shared by the trainers and expressed enthusiasm about implementing these strategies in their classrooms to improve student engagement and learning outcomes. These training initiatives reflect FEFDY's commitment to empowering educators with innovative teaching practices, child-centric methodologies, and experiential learning approaches. By combining structured curriculum delivery with engaging classroom strategies, the FEFDY Curriculum continues to support schools in creating impactful, future-ready learning environments that foster academic excellence and holistic student development.
